Great value, friendly helpful staff, great location
Liked: Free street parking outside the hotel. Lift available. Good choice of inexpensive breakfasts. Beer at EUR2 a bottle. Friendly and helpful staff. Easy access to centre of town. Great view of the mountains from my room.
Disliked: Perhaps some wine behind the bar.

Friendly, welcoming, caring and comfortable night, close to the volcano and the centre of town
Liked: The staff were exceptionally friendly and gave us lots of information when we first arrived. The breakfast was also fabulous. The beds were comfortable, the shower worked well, everything was clean and spacious, and they'd set the air in the room so the room was a lovely temperature when we first arrived – neither too hot or too cold (bearing in mind we were there during a heatwave).
Disliked: Everything was perfect for us. We happened to have a room overlooking the street and the entrance to the hostel's bar, so several locals were just outside under our window to smoke when we went to bed. But it didn't bother us since they disappeared reasonably early (about 11:30pm), and a room in another part of the building wouldn't have had that – but perhaps it would have been a problem for someone else?
Liked: Very helpful friendly staff. Secure place for our bikes. Amazing breakfast! Excellent location for the volcano and easy walk to the old town.

Disliked: Very thin walls, you can hear everything. We were so unlucky to have this couple having sex at 1'15am and wake up us all so we couldn't rest properly. Not hotel mistake, but knowing about everything can be hear, better if they try to separate, let's call it "interests" for the future
Despite the super friendly helpful staff, we felt that the hostel should be priced much lower
Liked: The staff was very friendly and helpful! The balcony had a great view and was very enjoyable. We had a safe garage to store our bicycles.
Disliked: The internet did not work for our iPhones. The shower operated with a push button and would turn off every 10-15 seconds, very annoying as was the rainfall shower head that didn’t work properly. The room had a broken furniture and the chair was filthy. The hostel needs remodeling. Okay if the cost was low but it wasn’t.
