  Super friendly

  Liked: Lovely friendly and helpful host! The hostel is opposite the bus station which was a blessing as I had heavy luggage. It's a big old fashioned home, very traditional. Godd value for money.

  Disliked: Nothing to dislike! You might not like the old fashioned furniture, but I don't mind it. The mattress was a bit firm, but I still slept well.

  Just okay, it worked for one night

  Liked: It wasn’t super clean, we didn’t have good water pressure, and the lighting is terrible.

  Liked: The room was clean and comfortable. The hosts were very gracious and friendly- they even offered me dessert as I was about to look around Olvera for a sweet treat. Very kind and I would highly recommend Hostal Medina to other pilgrims on the Via Serrana.

  Exceptional

  Liked: Hostal medina is directly in the centre, situated in a really nice old house! It is a bit old fashioned and would need a renovation. However, I have everything I needed and place was very clean.:)
