Exceptional
Lovely place, in a great location - but the facilities don't match what's described
Liked: The good stuff first - it's absolutely beautiful and the location is fantastic.
Disliked: The facilities shown on the booking.com website are not accurate (at least not all year round). There is no restaurant or bar in the Summer season. There is no coffee shop on site - in fact the only tea or coffee available is with the excellent breakfast. The amenities should reflect this seasonality. And honestly, not offering a simple kettle and coffee/tea making facilities in each room should be a minimum in this day and age. It would cost very little for the nice owners to do this, and make the visiting experience much better.
Liked: La casa es fantástica! Conservan aún moledoras de trigo y maíz. El jardín que rodea la casa también es muy calmo ideal para leer un rato rodeado de hortensias.
Disliked: La habitación que nos tocó era un bajo y se escuchaban mucho los pasos, voces, escaleras de las otras habitaciones.
Very nice host, charming setting and lovely historic buildings but very cold in room and bathroom
Liked: The host was very nice. He gave us a ride to a restaurant a mile away for dinner so we didn't have to search for parking. The location was charming and the historic buildings were well cared for and interesting.
Disliked: The room was very very cold. Heat controlled by management. Heat setting was for the entire floor of rooms. We were the only guests. We texted the manager/owner who remotely adjusted it warmer but it was still very very cold in the room. No heat in bathroom. It was winter and thus uncomfortable to be in the room, sleep, shower, use bathroom facilities. Hot water took an extraordinary long time to reach the bathroom, more than 5 minutes of wasting water until hot water came out of the faucet. Texted manager as we thought there was no hot water but he advised to let it run a very long time.
Liked: Very friendly host who was waiting for us when we arrived. Comfortable beds and excellent breakfast. Good wifi
