Fabulous
Staff helpful and stay restful. Food within easy reach in the nearby high street

Disliked: Train station noise from hotel room windows as can see railway track n platform outside bedroom window.
Great hotel - don’t bring a medium sized or bigger car!
Liked: Hotel is in a good position for the town if not a touch difficult to reach by car!
Disliked: The car park - not the hotels fault - is sooooo narrow it’s near on impossible to get a medium or larger car in - 3 of us tried - one had to park in the public area, one an Audi TThad to do rumours man overs to get in and the M3 hit the wall as the turn was so tight!

Disliked: Would stay in the old town next time as the area around the hotel is not inspiring.

Disliked: We were extremely disappointed with our stay. We specifically booked a double room with a queen bed for our honeymoon. The hotel completed our check-in, took our payment, and never informed us that the room we had reserved was unavailable. When we went upstairs, we discovered that we had been given a room with two single beds. We immediately returned to reception and asked for the room we had booked, but were told that no double rooms with a queen bed were available anywhere in the hotel. This should have been communicated before check-in, giving us the opportunity to cancel and choose another hotel. Instead, we only found out after paying and entering the room. For a honeymoon, this was especially disappointing and completely unacceptable. We expected much better service and communication. To make matters worse, we also contacted Booking.com customer service for assistance but received no response. Overall, this was a very disappointing experience, and we expected much better support from both the hotel and the booking platform.
