Exceptional
Liked: José was extremely helpful. Our bus was delayed, and he was kind enough to welcome us in the middle of the night. After a long day and a seven-hour bus journey, we really appreciated his thoughtfulness. The apartment is conveniently located very close to the bus station, which made our arrival much easier. The complimentary bottle of chilled wine was a lovely bonus.
Nice apartment in Oviedo
Liked: There is a great deal to love about this apartment. Plenty of space... the bed was comfortable, lots of hooks in the bathroom. It was also a nice bonus to be met by the host who speaks good English. I appreciated the hospitality. Finally although it is listed as saying it does not have air conditioning, they have do have a cooler that worked pretty well and an eighty or so degree day, and there is a ceiling fan in the bedroom which is kind of a rarity in Europe, so the rooms remained comfortable... Finally the location near the train and bus station was actually kind of nice... walk to old town was quick..and wasn't too loud.
Disliked: This isn't a negative...Just a warning for any Americans who might stay here. Learn from my mistake. Close the inner door of the wash machine before you start it.
Liked: The hosts went out of their way to make our stay comfortable and pleasant. The apartment is cozy, comfortable, and well-appointed to meet traveler's needs. The location is excellent, right by the bus station and within easy walking distance of restaurants, the park, and historical sites.
Disliked: The apartment key was tricky for us, but the hosts said that they would check it.
Nice place for a longer stay
Liked: We stayed in the apartment for 10 nights. The bed was very comfortable, the view was great, and everything worked as it should. We parked at the nearby garage that the owners recommended and it was about a 5 minute walk.
Disliked: I could occasionally hear the neighbors arguing when I was in bed. It wasn't a big deal and, otherwise, it was very quiet (no street noise, I rarely noticed church bells, no other noise from neighbors).
A great host, and ideally located in the centre of Oviedo!
Liked: Jose is an exceptional host! He was available to answer any questions at any time, and even allowed us to check in early. The apartment is clean, comfortable, and ideally located.
