Exceptional
Liked: Fantastic apartment set in the perfect location for visiting Oviedo. Our host, Davo, was very responsive and provided us with excellent information about the restaurants and things to do.
Perfect
Liked: Facilities, host communication and friendliness, cleanliness, location - everything is perfect. I also got a welcome amenities on arrival - nice touch. Great sleep quality with memory pillows that really help. Isolated kitchen, dining table, few places for remote work (dining table or second bedroom).
Disliked: Nothing that comes to mind.
Nice family apartment
Liked: The apartment is fully equipped, we found everything what we need. It was close to the city center and bus/train station, which was very convenient. David was so kind to advice us some places to visit in Oviedo and the rest of Asturias 🙂👍
Exceptional
A good apartment at a good price in a super walkable, livable town
Liked: The apartment was spacious, clean, and comfortable, with lots of windows, big wardrobes to unpack into, and a well-equipped kitchen and bathroom. The main bed was wonderfully firm, the washing machine was useful to have, and the desk in the second bedroom was a great workspace. The wifi always worked well. The location is terrific: it's an easy walk to the train and bus stations, the shopping district, and the sights in the medieval center of Oviedo. You're surrounded by bars, restaurants, and every kind of shop. Davi, the host, sent us a barrage of texts with information about checking in and recommendations about what to see and where to eat. All in all, this apartment was a great value for the price. We're only sorry we couldn't stay longer.
Disliked: The elevator felt a bit rickety, but it always worked. An electric kettle in the kitchen would be nice, but that's not really a Spanish thing. Having wash lines outside the window (like all of the neighboring apartments) would make it faster to dry clothes on a sunny day than using the folding rack indoors.
The best location in Oviedo
Liked: The house is basically in the center of all of Oviedo's attractions. A better location would be impossible. 2 bedrooms, fully equipped kitchen, a bathroom and living room with a dining table, TV (with Prime) and a very comfortable sofa. We were greeted upon arrival by David, the friendliest person you will meet in Oviedo. His tips were essential for a 5-star stay (restaurants, Sidra:-), bakeries (Moscovitas), city attractions, car parking, etc. We had a bottle of wine waiting for us at home, kindly offered by David, which made us appreciate those days even more. For film fans, don't forget to visit the Woody Allen statue.
