Good
Really good facilities but bring earplugs
Liked: The location was good. The facilities in the room were great: fridge, microwave, air conditioning (also warming), blow drier. The bed was comfy and the shower worked fine.
Disliked: I could hear both the people in the hotel snoring, and the people on the street having a wild Saturday night, including an episode of cursing and fighting around 4am, some earplugs are advisable. The receptionist seemed to be fed up with her job. No option to leave luggage, there was no one around when I left around 9 am.
Comfortable affordable place
Liked: Responded to my request for cup and spoon.
Disliked: That these should have been provided without asking to be able to use microwave.
I never got access to the property...didn't stay there
Liked: When I got there it was locked and dark with two telephone numbers on the door for reservations. Neither number responded. I asked a Spanish lady on the street and she called both numbers and there was no response on her phone. Check-in listed as 12pm-10pm. I had no place to go so I found other accommodation. Three times I walked past that property during my stay in Palencia and it was dark and locked. I have written three times to you "Booking team" asking for a refund and all I get is a runaround.
Disliked: Please do the right thing and return my 165euros...The Hostal didn't respond to my phone calls and didn't provide expected services.
Liked: Great location and convenience of self check in, although I had to contact them as that info didn't arrive automatically after booking
Disliked: The room had a strong smell like to a odour remover, that was uncomfortable and triggered my asthma
Liked: Location
