Liked: In the centre of palencia
Disliked: Old style hotel in need of an upgrade with no air-conditioning
Convenient
Liked: Near to town, shops and church. The receptionist was very good under the circumstances as she spoke very little English and our Spanish is next to zero. She used Google translate, so all was well.
Disliked: The site said there was parking available, which i asked for but due to our late arrival there was not. We had to unload and then go driving around looking for blue zone parks, which was not easy. However we did find probably the last park in area. Although comfortable the rooms are all very close, with windows looking into a common lightwell. You can hear others talking, and slightly worse, flushing the toilets very clearly!!
Great safe parking for my motorcycle, top location in a really cool city. Helpful staff

Disliked: Air conditioning would have been nice. It was 35 degrees when I arrived at 5pm after a six hour motorcycle ride. 😅
Liked: Great locations handy car parking facilities even though there is a charge. Very helpful staff who helped us sort out a small problem.

It was a safe place...that's it
Liked: I needed a night and they had one. Front desk people nice as was the housekeeper. Clean bathroom.
Disliked: Putrid with smoke residue. The place old and dark; lots of deferred maintainence. The carpet in my room was HORRID, filthy and old. Slid open the window to find hundreds of cigarette butts stuck in the planter running the length of the window. Cheap bed and cheaper pillows. Street noise...
