  Great hotel and location, but disappointing due to the staff’s poor attitude and lack of helpfulness

  Liked: I initially gave this hotel a good rating because the hotel itself is lovely. I particularly enjoyed the location, pool area, beach access and overall atmosphere. The pool and lounge area are beautiful and create a real feeling of escape from the busy tourist areas. The hotel is comfortable and has everything you need for a relaxing stay. However, these positives can be found elsewhere on the island, which is beautiful, and there are certainly other hotels where the staff are much more helpful and welcoming.

  Disliked: Unfortunately, after initially reviewing the hotel, I stayed for a further two nights and my experience with the staff completely changed my opinion. The biggest issue was a €6 difference in the dinner price. I was told that the reduced dinner price was only available if you committed to purchasing dinner for your entire stay on the first day. This policy gives guests absolutely no flexibility to explore other restaurants during their holiday without losing the reduced rate. I was not made sufficiently aware of this when checking in, and when I later wanted to have dinner at the hotel, I was charged the full price. What made the situation particularly disappointing was the way it was handled by the staff. The receptionist called the manager to discuss it, and they spoke to each other in Spanish in front of me, so I could not understand what was being said. The attitude felt extremely rude and dismissive, and the manager was no more helpful. I was particularly disappointed because I had checked in as part of a group, yet on this occasion I was made to feel like an outsider rather than a valued guest. It is honestly frustrating that €6 was allowed to completely overshadow what could otherwise have been a lovely stay. The hotel itself is beautiful, but customer service is such an important part of the experience, and unfortunately the attitude of some of the staff left a very negative experience. I would have happily returned for the hotel, pool, beach access and atmosphere, but unfortunately the experience with the staff has left me such a negative impression that I’m now not sure I would choose to stay here again or recommend it to others.

  Very clean nice hotel, but the sound of the music from the Nikki’s beach club was so loud

  Great location but a bit expensive for the room size

  Liked: Great location beachfront and good breakfast buffet spread - beds were very large and comfortable

  Disliked: The shower water pressure wasn’t great and our baby was crawling around the floor and his clothes were quite dirty so the floors should be cleaned better
