  An amazing hotel with amazing staff

  Liked: Great breakfast, both the buffet and a 'la Carte, with the option to sit either inside or out.

  STAY AWAY

  Liked: This was my worst hotel experience of my life. I am a Bonvoy Titanium status member and have stayed at numerous St Regis and Ritz Carlton properties. All of them disappointed but this stay disappoints the most. I was received at the lobby and then immediately forgotten. The hotel wasnt even busy. We were the only ones in the lobby. We were offered a welcome drink then forgotten about and offered again after 15 mins. It took over 30 mins just to get a room key. I was immediately told that a status upgrade wasnt available because "my stay is too long". Not there arent any rooms available, but because my 6 day stay was "too long". We were told a shuttle runs back and forth from the resort to the beach. But when we went to use the shuttle we found out its only a one-way shuttle. If I didnt make sure to confirm the return I would have been stranded because I left my cash in the room. The service on property is useless. Either no one answers the phone, you get wrong information, or its someone else's department to help you, shoulder shrug, and the cycle repeats. The food is so bad, bland and mediocre and the breakfast buffet is a joke. I dont trust the Michelin star they claim everywhere. The mini bar is never restocked without repeatedly harassing. The spa tub in the room didnt properly function. Just a complete disappointment in every way and thats without even factoring in the price of the hotel. Do yourself a favor and just stay at Four Seasons.

  A Solid St. Regis

  Liked: This is a big sprawling resort just on the outskirts of Palma and as such lives up to the St. Regis brand. The surrounding area is quite busy with a major yacht basin nearby. As seen from the website the focus is a large pool that slopes towards the sea with very comfortable chaise loungers, sofas and pool attendants. There is a small beach that one can walk to but has no amenities besides a boat dock. The hotel interior is fairly straight forward with what I would call a modern "Scottsdale" look. The rooms are very updated, quite comfortable and well air-conditioned. PLUS - the hairdryer is a Dyson!! Staff were great! No complaints what so ever - just I prefer more boutique hotels.

  Liked: Beautiful property in a superb location.

  Disliked: Massively overpriced for the service they deliver (only a few examples below): - Room for 2k+ a night had no proper isolation and we could hear the next door baby like it was in our own room. - Impossible to get a good coffee - Baby can’t be prioritized (food at 11am is a problem, speed is a problem, water before 11am at the pool is a problem etc) - Half the staff doesnt speak English properly - couldnt place an order for a simple sandwhich plus sweet potatoe fries on the phone for 5min prior to giving up. - Pool staff and restaurant staff have insane egos and mistreat customers without apologizing - Restaurant staff didnt help with baby despite being first customers in the morning half of our stay (improved in second half) - Had audacity to charge me for the water I got myself walking from the pool to the breakfast and back (breakfast is already paid. no one served anyone by the pool so I got it myself) - There is no service, no kindness, the customer has to fight for every detail. Charging 2k+ a night for an “experience” like this is literally the worst value for money I have ever seen in hospitality in my life.
