Unique, peaceful and a step back in time
Liked: Quiet peaceful and very rustic. Lovely owners and nice organic breakfast. Lovely cat and dog.
Disliked: Shame no evening meal offered any more. The bathroom across a shared hallway wasn’t ideal but that was the room available. We were unlucky with terrible midges on the local walks.
Wonderful place
Liked: An absolute gem in the Ribeira Sacra!We had a truly wonderful stay at Reitoral de Chandrexa. The views are absolutely beautiful and so peaceful—it is the perfect place to unwind. The location is excellent, as it sits very close to major tourist sights like the stunning miradores (viewpoints) and the river. It is also conveniently near Parada de Sil, where you can find plenty of great restaurants.Our host was an absolute gentleman. He welcomed us warmly and gave us plenty of excellent local tips and information that helped us make the most of our trip. There is also safe outdoor parking available on-site, which gave us peace of mind.The organic breakfast was great, featuring a wide range of fresh fruit and a different delicious, homemade cake every single day. As for the accommodation, the rooms are lovely, beautifully rustic, and spotlessly clean.We highly recommend this place and cannot wait to return!

Exceptional
Liked: Reitoral de Chandrexa is such a relaxing place. It's in the middle of the Sin Canyon in Ribeira Sacra and close to Parada de Sil. The rooms are spacious with a comfortable bed and large bathroom with a hot, powerful shower. Xurxo is the perfect host. His organic food is cooked to perfection. We had breakfast (€8pp) and dinner (€18pp) on both days, which was just bliss. We did the most beautiful hike in this area and really enjoyed our time here. The 700 years old chestnut tree is a short walk from Reitoral de Chandrexa and worth seeing.

Liked: Beautiful renovated old building. The organic garden, chickens, pigs, dog and donkey. So peaceful atmosphere. The dinner is simple with self produce ingredients, so tasty. One of the best memories in Spain.
