  Good place to stop for a night with friendly owners

  Liked: Spacious clean room. Dog friendly. Nice breakfast. Quintanilla de Arriba was the nearest village and we found that to be a nice friendly spot to spend an evening.

  Disliked: The Booking.com app brings you to the adjoining bodega. The signage for the hotel is obscured and so we drove past it ( see photo). A large H or something similar would be of help. Penafiel is the nearest big town and it is a cultural disaster zone. We could not find a good restaurant. The largest hotel in Penafiel would not allow us to eat outside with our dog. How a town with so much wealth from Ribera del Duero wines could be so bereft of decent places to eat is beyond me.

  Liked: Everything was amazing. We were travelling with our dog and they had a great courtyard. The breakfast was lovely. It was easy and secure parking and space for our bike too. I loved that it was family run!

  Very cute rural hotel next to boutique Botega, very conveniently located in the hear of Wine Region

  Liked: Breakfast was very good, local dishes and good coffee. Very pleasant people running the place, very helpful, even though they don't speak English - we managed with AI translator.
