Fabulous
Liked: We had a wonderful night, the view from the roof is amazing. Unfortunately it was a bit windy so we couldn't sit up there in the evening. Both the dinner and the breakfast were beautiful. Especially the croissants.
Liked: The location was spectacular, there were very few guests at the time and the staff absolutely doted on us. The swimming pool on the roof was a very nice touch with the best views.
The perfect location for romantic getaway, stag/hendo or a base for local exploration
Liked: This place is unreal. The moment you approach the village and see the castle on top of the hill, you will feel mesmerised. The staff was super friendly on our arrival, the little Spanish I knew helped us to get on good footing for the rest of the conversation. The rooms are amazing, feels authentic. The indoor courtyard is so magical, I could've sat there for ages (but alas, there was no time). The views from the rooftop are stunning, make sure you take time to spend up there! The hotel restaurant is also good enough, which is nice as you don't really wanna be walking up the hill back from the village anyhow!

Not a good stay
Liked: It was very nice where it was located.
Disliked: We were given a horrible room. Was supposed to get a queen bed but only had a room with 2 single beds in an awful location since the hotel was full. It was extremely noisy and the room very nice. The person at the front desk was not pleasant. My wife left her computer tablet there and we could not get it back. The service was not good. I would not recommend.
