  Generous host, person providing keys very amenable, good location opposite beach and near restaurant

  Liked: We were met with the keys by David who let us in and explained how machines worked etc, and was equally helpful on our departure. the owner very kindly agreed to us having a friend who lives in Peniscola stay with us in the apartment (so that we could see more of her) and she did not charge us for it.

  Disliked: The flat is quite small, just about fine for 2 people but we doubt you would want to be more unless it is warm and everyone can sit outdoors. But this was winter!

  The best place to stay in Peniscola but please, don't tell everyone!!!

  Liked: We loved how friendly and communicative the host was! He is the nicest! His apartment is extremely well taken care of, well decorated, comfortable and clean! We slept so well on the comfy mattress and soft sheets! We came during a very rainy weekend, so we had to stay inside quite a lot, and we had everything we needed and felt cozy like at home!

  Great stay in an apartment across from the beach. Comfortable and good value

  Liked: We had a GREAT stay. Our host was friendly, kind, and responsive. The apartment building was right across the street from the beach, we had a view of the castle and beach from the balcony, having laundry was a great bonus, and parking was so easy on the property. The apartment was clean, updated, and comfortable. The location was great. We were right across from the beach and just a few minutes walk to the castle, restaurants and a nice grocery store. The beach was clean and beautiful. We only stayed 2 nights, but easily could have stayed longer.

  Disliked: We don't have any complaints. Everything went well for us.

  Absolute gem right on the beach

  Liked: Gorgeous flat, really nicely renovated with everything you need for a comfortable stay. Comfy bed, great kitchen, TV and sofa. Great shower, very clean overall.Our host welcomed us at the property, explained everything and was very responsive. Location is right on one of the best beaches you'll find on the Mediterranean coast but still very quiet at night. Wish we could have stayed longer, highly recommend.

  Liked: So clean, new and modern with a superb view from the balcony where we enjoyed breakfast and night caps

  Disliked: Nothing, just be aware of the bunk beds in the second room although it was fun to see my 82 year old dad on the bottom bunk
