  Fantastic location apartments in the best place in old town Peniscola with an amazing roof terrace

  Liked: Simple, comfortable, clean apartments right in the centre of old town Peniscola. We loved the location - you're right in a fantastic, beautiful, historic neighbourhood of narrow streets and loads of nice cafes, bars and restaurants, and 2 beaches only 10 minutes walk away, plus incredible views. (We preferred the north beach). The roof terrace (open to all guests) is also superb, a fab place to hang out and meet other guests too whilst admiring the amazing scenery. Communications with the apartment were excellent and Jessica answered every request and query very promptly. They even supplied us with free eclipse glasses as we'd gone to watch the full solar eclipse which was amazing. We stayed 5 nights and the 3 bedroom apartment was just right for the 5 of us who stayed there.

  Disliked: You pay a small premium for the location but it was really good value compared to other similar apartments in the locality and definitely worth it for the location and convenience. The apartments are sparsely furnished so they won't be for you if you like really modern, swish apartments but they're great for a family and clean. They could do with a little more up to date kitchen equipment (eg. there was only 1 cup when we arrived but 4 more were very promptly supplied). There is no parking immediately outside (but the apartment helpfully sent us a map where to park which was only 5 minutes walk away and very reasonably priced - use the Telpark app). But be warned, these apartments would be a struggle for those with limited mobility as you have to walk up through the old town to get there and there is no elevator in the apartment (ours was on the 3rd floor).

  Liked: Excellent location. Questions about kitchen. The fridge was long time not in use and smells. bath is new! View is amazing.

  Great Views & Location

  Liked: The location was great, the view was awesome, you can see the sunrise on the Mediterranean. Almost 180 degrees unobstructed view from the private terrace, something which is very rare.

  Disliked: The design of the bathroom was not very good. The entry in the shower area was just next to the toilet seat making it very difficult to enter the shower area without getting in contact with the toilet seat, which according to me was not good. Would have been better if the entry to the shower area was on the opposite side of the toilet. That way the entry would have been clean to the shower area. For other apartments I think the toilet design is not like this but for the penthouse apartment it was not designed well. Also, there were no cloth drying racks.

  Absolutely recommended

  Liked: The location of the flat was great, as you stay in the heart of the historical side of the town. And walking distance to the beach and all amenities and restaurants. The flat was in great clean condition, the only but is that it didn't have a kettle, tea cups and chopping board. The kitchen utensils were a bit poor, which is something easy to improve. Despite that, everything was superb!

  Disliked: As mentioned before, the only but was the poornes in the kitchen utensils.
