  Liked: The location was good but hard to get to with luggage. Clean and tidy. No toilet roll, hairdryer as advertised and no reply from the owner when we contacted her despite several attempts.

  Disliked: Unfortunately, the room was not suitable for the extremely hot weather. There was no air conditioning despite temperatures reaching around 40°C outside. The room was also located in a basement, with the window facing directly onto a busy street where many people were constantly passing by. Because of the heat, we had no choice but to keep the window open, which meant having very little privacy and dealing with noise from the street. Closing the window simply wasn’t an option because the room would become unbearably hot. Overall, this made our stay quite uncomfortable.

  Central location, but no AC and loud streets, difficult to sleep

  Liked: The location is great. You can walk everywhere, not only within the castle, but literally everywhere in the center of the city.

  Disliked: The room is very small and beds are ok. They mistaken our room for another one, and tried to get into our room several times on our first morning because they thought we were supposed to check out. There is no AC in the room, there is a ceiling fan and a regular fan. It is impossible to close the window because of the heat... As the room is in the old and lively center, it is loud until 3-4am, which makes it impossible to get any sleep. Investing on ACs in the rooms and charging a few euros more would be a better strategy.

  An absolute no no

  Liked: It was spotless

  Disliked: It was super noisy at night, we couldn’t sleep until 2 am. There was no AC and the fan provided in the bedroom was very noisy. There were no blinds and the sheer courtains would allow all the light from the streetlights to get in the room all night. We couldn’t sleep at all.

  Fabulous location, clean and well maintained room, friendly staff at check in

  Liked: Great location within the castle walls. Exceptionally clean & fresh smelling room. Check in was easy.

  Disliked: The room was perfect except for the fact it wasn’t air conditioned, which we were aware of when booking it, so it’s not a complaint It did have a huge ceiling fan, which normally would have been effective, but temperature & humidity levels were really high, so the room felt very warm at night. Every other aspect 10/10.
