  Fantastic simple option in old town

  Liked: We made a last minute reservation midweek and they were very good about accommodating us. This is a lovely little building in old town. Rooftop terrace is a terrific space to enjoy the evening sky and take in the coast line. Breakfast was tasty.

  Disliked: This is in old town and moving luggage about can be tedious.

  Liked: We couldn’t fault our stay. What a wonderfully special place this was. We stayed for 7 nights and were charmed by Pensicola but La Plaza Hostal made it. We booked the room with the terrace on the top floor, we enjoyed the views of the castle but also the communal terrace with views across the beaches. The building has been newly renovated in recent years and everything felt brand new. A huge thank you to Chris for being such a wonderful host. We will be back
