  A wonderful place to spend a weekend

  Liked: The best thing about this apartment is, of course, the view from the balcony. It’s simply a joy to live right by the sea — waking up in the morning, having coffee on the balcony, and looking out at the beautiful sea. We were welcomed by the host and her son — very pleasant and polite people who were always happy to help. We also liked that the apartment has Netflix.

  Disliked: The boiler is only sufficient for one adult or two small children to shower. For a family of four, there isn’t enough hot water — it runs out very quickly. Please keep this in mind. We had to split showers between morning and evening. If you come back from the beach and all four people want to shower, there will only be enough hot water for one or two people. It would be great if the apartment were vacuumed, as there were some hairs on the floor and sand kept crunching underfoot. Mopping alone doesn’t seem to be enough to clean the floors properly.

  Delightful (apart from the water incident!)

  Liked: The host (Lola) came to meet us.

  Disliked: Unfortunately (through no fault of the host) a water pipe burst in one of the flats above us in the middle of the night. Water came gushing in through the kitchen ceiling. We attended to it. When we advised Lola she came immediately. She had to walk up 8 flights of stairs. She advised the fire brigade where to turn off the water etc. The following day we had to carry our luggage down 8 flights of stairs ☹️

  Perfect apartment in fantastic location

  Liked: We absolutely loved the apartment. The kind host met us on arrival, so getting the key was super easy. The apartment had everything we needed, great location within walking distance to the old town and beautiful view overlooking the beach. We wish we could have stayed longer.
