Fabulous
Tiny room
Liked: The location was great
Disliked: It was one of the smallest rooms in which we have ever stayed
Liked: Fantastic location with a small balcony and beautiful view of the castle. Nice restaurant and terrace.
Disliked: The afternoon/evening staff member was quite unfriendly and not welcoming at all. The wifi was non existent in the room. The shower was extremely small and the hot water was a bit hit and miss
Highly recommended place to eat and spend the night
Liked: What's not to like about this hotel?! It is in a fabulous location right across from the castle. The staff was super friendly and helpful (including the owner, whom we got to know during lunch.) The menu for lunch was exceptional. Our room was delightful and cozy with stone walls. We enjoyed every moment in this historic place.

Disliked: Great location, but open windows to the street allowed a fair amount of street noise at night.
Reasonable stay
Liked: Room sized for a single person. 2 people would be crowded. Easy to find and a good location in Ponferrada. The bed is comfortable.
Disliked: Shower is a handhold only. Not easy to have a shower. Bar downstairs is open until 2am. Loud smokers outside my window until the place closed. Hard to sleep between 11pm-2am. Had to close my window. Too noisy and too much smoke.
Liked: Great location right next to the Templar castle
