Pleasant
Ordinary room but comfortable and quiet
Little room but enough for me
Liked: Excellent hospitality, warm sun and a peaceful shoreline.
Not for me!
Liked: Very little -there’s a reason this place has consistently poor scores. If this place was called a hostel and €20 a night it would be passable. The bedding was clean. The towel was from this century. The property had ‘character’ There is free parking on the streets.
Disliked: (We were provided a room smaller than what we booked/paid for but as I wasn’t asked for all the additional costs in terms and conditions I didn’t complain). The property looks as though it’s been decorated by someone on drugs wearing a blindfold. Paint everywhere it shouldn’t be. Turquoise paint. With the odd swirl and literally anything can be wallpapered including the bathroom ceiling. The walls are so thin you can hear everything. Babies crying all night (I have no issues with babies only the thin walls), the guest next door making the most of the free wifi (although I couldn’t log in) to FaceTime around the world all night, the neighbour making the most of the ‘cooler’ evening by doing his flat pack furniture at 1am. Shared bathroom. I mentioned To the manager/owner the floor was wet on arrival. He said this was normal at the end of the season. No towel. No mop. He didn’t pop into clean it up. Just 2cm of water to navigate. The next day Pee splattered all over the loo seat. Phlegm in the sink. Mud on the bath. All by 9am. No cleaning materials if I had fancied clearing up others bodily fluids. Not particularly convenient or close to anything. No fan (this saved me €10) so baking hot. Curtains of mis matched sheets. One plug in the whole room. Mattress wider than the bedframe. We checked out early. I emailed the manager/owner but had no response.
