  Exceeded expectations

  Liked: A wonderful house, fully equipped with everything you need for a comfortable stay. It is perfect for large groups and families. The house was very spacious for the three of us. There were virtually no downsides. Almost everything was perfect, from the location to the price.

  Disliked: The only thing we didn’t like was the discrepancy between the check-out time listed on Booking.com and the time requested by the host. Booking.com states that check-out is at 11:00 AM, but the host asks guests to leave by 10:00 AM. This is quite inconvenient, especially for those with evening flights, as it doesn’t leave much time to enjoy a relaxed breakfast.

  The Perfect House for a Relaxing Stay

  Liked: The house is great - large, spacious, exceptionally clean, and perfectly equipped with everything you could possibly need, from a coffee machine to an air fryer. The pool is great as well. The house is in a lovely location, within easy reach of the nearest beach, and is also well positioned for exploring the island. The host was very helpful throughout our stay.

  Disliked: Only a few minor things to mention: we couldn’t use the ground-floor bedroom because it was quite damp and had a noticeable musty smell, but as the house is very spacious, we still had plenty of room. After about seven days, the pool started to get dirty, and since we hadn’t been given any instructions on how to clean or maintain it, nor did we have access to any pool chemicals, we weren’t able to use it during the last few days of our stay. Some of the cushions on the sun loungers also need replacing. These were all relatively minor issues and didn’t spoil our stay, but with a little extra maintenance and attention, the house could be truly spectacular.

  Had the most enjoyable week at Casa Ladena exploring parts of Majorca I had not been to before. Loved the villa so much

  Liked: The property was a real home away from home. Anything you thought you needed was there (and things you didn’t know you needed!). I really loved the little vanity baskets in all the bathrooms, such a lovely touch!

  A very unpleasant experience

  Liked: The property had all the facilities required

  Disliked: Unfortunately safety is paramount and we were burgled on our stay. Not helped by having cameras that didn’t work and staff that hardly spoke English or indeed Spanish. I can’t recommend on this basis

  A really relaxing and peaceful stay in a beautiful house, with everything we could possibly need

  Liked: The house is really beautiful, with loads of space. There were only 4 of us staying, but the house could accommodate up to 8 people easily. We had everything and more we could possibly need, and the outside space was especially lovely. Cala Murada is a quiet little town, off the beaten track and really peaceful. Perfect for what we wanted, and within easy reach of 2 bustling towns (Portocolom and Portocristo) where there were loads of lovely restaurants and other things to do. We hired a car and could therefore drive to small, quiet coves and swim in beautiful clear waters, away from the crowds. I can't recommend this house or the location enough, we had such a great holiday.

  Disliked: Only very minor things! We could have maybe used having a spare key as it could be quite easy to lock yourself out. Also, we thought perhaps the information booklet in the house could have had a bit more in it - especially about where to find bigger supermarkets closer to Cala Murada (we went to Portocolom for this) and we did find the directions to the house a little confusing, although we did find without too much difficulty.
