  I was there for some family business not holiday but the hostal was a great base for this

  Liked: the breakfast in the bar was good and the staff there very pleasant.

  Disliked: water pressure a bit low and the water didn't come through very hot. The TV did not have any channels but I didn't mind that as the wifi was good for my device.

  It’s okay for one or two nights, given the price

  Liked: This is a relatively simple place to stay, but it’s very well situated in Portocolom: there are restaurants and shops right in the neighbourhood. I could even see the sea from my balcony, which I really liked. It’s perfectly fine for 1–2 nights. The room was clean and quite spacious. I particularly liked the balcony, where I enjoyed sitting. Communication with the accommodation was also very good.

  Disliked: What I didn’t like: it’s extremely noisy at night. You can hear the other guests when they come back late at night, and there was also a lot of extra noise from the street at night. I slept very little and very poorly. What’s more, the smell in and coming from the bathroom was very unpleasant. It smelled absolutely awful, especially at night, and I had to keep the door closed to stop the smell spreading into the room. A small fridge would also be very useful.

  Nice hotel with very good location

  Liked: The Restaurant HPC is excellent, you could always find a parking spot near hotel, breakfast was good. Overall satisfied.

  Disliked: There was no hand soap; the walls were paper thin, upstairs neighbours decided to move furniture at 1am which was very disturbing, and you could hear everyone talking; also the floor was a bit sandy.

  I have been coming to HPC restaurants for 20 years and have been very happy with the quality and service. I have sadly b

  Liked: Location Good breakfast

  Disliked: Room 207 was dirty including the wardrobe. The bathroom was very worn with very corroded taps, bin was extremely rusty, the edges of the floor engrained with hair and other filth. The duty manager offered us the only other available room which she must have known had sewage problems and which we turned down. Even smirking when we returned the keys. The stench was overwhelming when we opened the door. It was decided that the cleaner would be contacted and it would be deep cleaned. Basically from that first day it consisted of me asking the duty manager each afternoon when l returned if it had been cleaned and checked which she said it had but clearly hadn’t. Even showing her photos l had taken to prove this. My last night she did finally come to see the room and sent a video to the cleaner!!!!!
