Disappointing rural stay
Liked: Beautiful view over de valley Spacious rooms
Disliked: Aggressive/very boisterous dog on the premises: two of us were jumped on and suffered scratches Disturbing, loud classical music playing during the day and evening No English was spoken, even though this had been promised on the Booking.com information page Very basic breakfast that seemed to take ages to prepare Shower curtain in the bathroom: shower curtains generally always feel sticky
A very pleasant stay with great character
Liked: Property with great character. The views are great. The owners are animals lovers with exotic birds, horses and sheep. There was classical music playing both evenings that was very nice.
Disliked: The roads leading to the property are not great.
Fantastic stopping point for us between Portugal and our return ferry. Would be an ideal location for a walking holiday

Pleasant stay in nice rural location close to Picos
Liked: Great rural, valley side location with good parking. Quiet and no busy roads. Pleasant room with nice views. Included breakfast. Hosts tried hard and met our requests.
Disliked: Lack of fly screens, fans or air-conditioning made for an uncomfortable night in record heat.
