Fabulous
Good stay for a night or two
Liked: Location, walking distance to town, free parking.
Disliked: You can hear neighbours from next room and refrigerator as there is a restaurant below. Bring plugs if you a light sleeper.
Great location, clean rooms, lousy customer service
Liked: Million dollar view of « Los Picos »from our bedroom.
Disliked: Not a particularly warm welcome. I asked for the wifi code but was told they didn’t have wifi. The wifi modem was clearly visible on the wall of the restaurant and showed up on my mobile. I assume I could have asked for the code if I was dining the restaurant; however because of the aloof welcome received and the denial of having a wifi we didn’t eat at the restaurant during our stay.
Rural, beautiful views, close to town, fabulous food and a comfy sleep
Liked: Beautiful rural location but only 15 minutes steady walk from centre of Potes. Restaurant and bar caters mainly to locals but selection is good, portions generous and reasonably priced. A double en-suite room costs 40-odd pounds sterling and is very good value. The staff are lovely and very attentive, the beds very comfortable.
Disliked: The bedrooms are situated above a restaurant cold-store and the compressor can be heard switching on and off at night. The water system is also a bit antiquated and makes spurious noises when a tap is switched on or toilet flushed. If you’re a light sleeper these may be a problem, I was fine.
Practical stay but no atmosphere; a comfortable enough room just within walking distance of Potes
Liked: No breakfast was taken at the property so we cannot comment on that. We did have an evening meal which was acceptable but the feeling in the restaurant on the night we did was not one that was particularly warming, two tables occupied, ours being one and at opposite ends of the room with one member of staff appearing to do everything and the meals themselves were ok, not stand out in anyway. The room itself was basic and we hadn't expected anything else and it overlooked the rear hillside garden which was nice however, with the window being kept open because it was warm we did notice a number of flies coming into the room which we put down to chickens that live freely in the garden. It was a niggle and not a reason to prevent us booking again. The beds we had were single beds and to our surprise were extremely comfortable and on both nights we got a great nights sleep.
Disliked: The general feel wasn't quite what we like, it didn't have a cosy feel or a welcoming feel and although the person that welcomed us when we arrived (the same man who was doing everything in the restaurant in the evening) was basically very pragmatic and not particularly friendly either and so it was a reasonable comfortable stay but that's all it was. The absence of wifi was also an irritation however, to be fair, when I re-looked at the website that is stated, I just missed it.

Liked: The quality price of the beds and place in general is perfect.
Disliked: I ordered a simple eggs with chips and the quantity and quality were not the best for the price they asked.

Liked: Lovely staff and location. Super evening food. Booking.com location tag is most incorrect as usual
