A little secret paradise in the Andalusian hills
Liked: Hacienda el Tarajal is a wonderful little paradise, tucked away somewhere almost secretly hidden between the olive trees in the Andalucian hills. The very sympathetic Belgian hosts Sylvie and Xavier have really taken hospitality to a next level. The location is exceptional with great views, the pool is gorgeous, the rooms immaculate and comfortable with great beds and shower. The small beautiful details are all around you, from the breakfast with fresh ingredients to the smart interior, very nice conversations with the hosts as well, good vibes only. We would love to return one day, thank you🤠☀️☘️
Stunning 5* Boutique B&B - with amazing facilities and views
Liked: This is a 5* property- paradise in Preigo De Cordoba. Expertly run with very welcoming hosts and their dog Maurice, who we were lucky to see as leaving. Beautifully decorated, delicious breakfast and a nice array of beers, wine, drinks available to purchase. Great location to explore, olive oil tasting. We were recommended to Syrah restaurant in Preigo de Cordoba, doesn’t look much but the food was amazing!

A hidden gem and a small paradise
Liked: It’s a rare joy to find a place that surpasses its own promise — lovelier in reality than in its already stunning photos. After a short drive of just over an hour from Granada, we arrived at this small paradise, and from the first moment, it felt like time slowed down. Perched on a hill wrapped in olive groves and crowned with palms, pomegranate trees, and fragrant blooms, the hacienda radiates harmony. Every corner, both inside and out, is curated with care — from the elegant decor to the soft scents of artisanal soaps that linger in the air. Hosts Sylvie and Xavier were the heart of this experience. They went above and beyond to make our stay unforgettable — from the beautifully served breakfasts of fresh local ingredients enjoyed on the terrace at sunrise, to the Friday evening dinner, a feast of Andalusian flavors paired with exquisite wines. Their warmth and attention to detail made us feel entirely at home. Our room was lovely — spotless, serene, and full of light. Wandering down through lush greenery, we discovered the pool: a tranquil haven that could rival the most beautiful Balinese resorts. We spent our days resting on the sunbeds, taking refreshing swims, and sipping cool drinks from the honesty bar, surrounded by nothing but birdsong and the whisper of the breeze. While lunch isn’t served on-site and dinner is available only on select evenings, the nearby town of Priego (a 15-minute drive) offers good options for groceried or dining out. The roads, though narrow and winding, reward every turn with breathtaking views — though they may be a bit challenging after dark for the less experienced driver. We’re deeply grateful to have found this hidden gem. It’s a place we’ll dream of returning to — a sanctuary of peace, beauty, and genuine hospitality. Memorable stay
Liked: Everything... felt right at home. A lovely hacienda in a wonderful rural location amongst olive groves. Sylvie and her husband Xavier are warm and charming hosts that provide special touches to their place that make it unique and welcoming. Breakfast provided was fresh and delicious and my husband and I enjoyed the dinner offering. Highly recommend and would not hesitate to return.

Beautiful hacienda with best ever pool
Liked: Beautiful Hacienda in the middle of the Olive groves. Never-ending views from everywhere. One of my favourite swimming pools ever! Just paradise! Very friendly owners who prepared a delicious breakfast every morning. Beautiful area surrounding the Hacienda. The nearby town of Priego de Córdoba was very charming with narrow streets full of flowers
Disliked: Unfortunately, the floor cooling was not as efficient as a normal air condition, so the nights wear a bit too hot for my liking.
