  Disliked: "Slight problem with pool" turned out to mean NO pool and 25 workmen with all the accompaning noise from 08.00am 19.00pm. so no garden facilities at all plus a lot of apartments being renovated so more noise...very disappointing, have cancelled December booking....

  Liked: No pool area including garden, sundowners or anywhere to sit, no pool builders all over, drilling of the pool all fenced off.. no restaurant or bar areas.. currently sat on a bench on the front of the hotel. Residents also in this hotel with dogs barking and banners on balcony saying this is not a hotel. Staff are friendly and polite.. but the hotel has zero going on. Literally a hostal sutuation. Carpets and corridors are ruined with dust all over the carpets from builders. Book anywhere else.

  Liked: Absolutely awful experience – would not recommend Our stay at Coral Teide Mar was extremely disappointing and, unfortunately, nothing like what was advertised. There was no bar at all, despite this being something we expected to be available during our holiday. The entertainment that was advertised was also nowhere to be found, which was incredibly disappointing. To make matters worse, there was ongoing building/construction work taking place at the hotel, which completely affected the atmosphere and our enjoyment of the holiday. We were then told that the pool was being closed, just four days into our holiday. What made this even worse was the complete lack of communication — there was no prior notice given to guests, and staff did not properly explain what was happening or inform people about the pool closure. We paid for a holiday expecting the facilities and services that were advertised, but what we experienced was very different. The lack of communication from staff made an already disappointing situation even worse. Overall, this was a very poor experience, and I absolutely would not recommend Coral Teide Mar to anyone. I would strongly advise anyone considering booking this hotel to check exactly what facilities are currently available before committing to a stay.

  Terrible experience - avoid this place!!

  Liked: AVOID AVOID AVOID!! Not a good experience at all at this hotel. No entertainment, no pool bar, pool falling apart and dangerous, pool condemned and shut half way through our holiday. Won't re-open for a few months. Nightmare to try and get sorted. Offered use of a pool 15 minutes walk away down steep steps with children and a disabled adult. Offered a different hotel, also unsuitable! So stressful!! If you are due to come here change your hotel ASAP!! Rooms currently under refurbishment making the hotel more like a building site! One positive the beds are comfy but I wouldn't recommend this hotel to my worst enemy. Staff are very friendly and helpful and trying their best in a really bad situation but ultimately have very little power to do anything about the issues.

  NO NOT COME!!

  Liked: Don’t go. Awful hotel. It’s basically a building site. We’re not people that normally complain so we were hustling sucking it up and making the most of it. Then 5 days into our 10 day holiday, after my son had already sustained quite a bad injury on his foot in the pool due to loose tiles, lov environmental health came in, condemned the pool and closed it. We have been left with no pool for over half of our holiday. As a group of 12 including children, an elderly lady and a lady with a disability this threw us into complete chaos. The hotel was unable to offer us a suitable hotel to swap too so we’ve had no option but to stay. The hotel have been ringing round other local hotels everyday to see if their guests can access different hotel pools. We’ve done this for the last 2 days but it’s a 15 minute walk each way down a hill which is hard work with children and disabilities is very difficult. We have also now been told that tomorrow they don’t currently have anywhere for us to go. It’s crazy because for a whole hotel they’re only offering 15 guests access to use another pool. I will just add that amoungst all the chaos and building work the hotel staff have been amazing. They have been nothing but helpful and I feel have genuinely tried their hardest in an awful situation. It’s not their fault that they’re working in a building site yhats still accepting guests. That’s down to the greed of the Coral bosses.

New pet policy at our Coral Teide Mar.

Deposit of 25 €/per room/stay for guests who bring their pet with them to our hotel.

At the same time we would like to remind you that only one pet per room is allowed and only a dog or a cat (no other animal) with a maximum weight of 4,5 kg.

Your pet will be received in our establishment as long as the request has been made previously, being you aware of the following rules:

. You are responsible for any type of incident in relation to your pet. If material damage occurs due to the pet, you are responsible for the costs arising from this cause.

. To clean the studio, the pet must be outside during the service. This service does not include the collection and cleaning of dirt caused by their physiological needs.

. The dog cannot enter the public facilities of the hotel such as swimming pool, gardens, bars, etc.

. The dog can never be left alone in the room, the dog must be accompanied in the room all the time.

. You should keep your pet it on a leash whenever you leave the room, never let it loose.

. It must be a calm animal that does not disturb other customers with barking or meowing.

. A current and up-to-date vaccination certificate of the pet must be provided on arrival at the hotel.
