  Everything one needs for an unforgettable vacation

  Liked: Splendid hosts, wonderful location, very comfortable and clean finca with everything needed for a care free stay. Swimming pool with astonishing view is a gem worth mentioning, too. It was both great to use it as a starting point to explore the North coast of Teneriffa and the Teide National Park and stay there for a day just to chill and enjoy this wonderful place doing nothing more than a walk through the beautiful La Orotava.

  Disliked: Beware of mosquitoes. But the finca has everything to deal with it without discomfort. Just use a mosquito net at a bedside and a fumigator from the first night:)

  Delightful stay in a quirky rustic well equipped villa

  Liked: Location just a 10minute walk from La Orovata and its restaurants bars and tourist sites. Extremely well equipped especially the kitchen. Property was quirky and rustic which we loved. The owners were delightful and always on hand to suggest restaurants and places to visit. They were also were very responsive if we had any questions. We especially loved the fresh eggs from the chickens and the lemons from the lemon tree in the well tended gardens.

  Disliked: I couldn’t fault it, it is probably the best villa that I have stayed in but that is my personal taste.

  Beautiful

  Liked: When we arrived we were greeted by Matias and Angelika who could not have been nicer and more helpful. Throughout our stay they gave us fresh eggs from their chickens. Matias also supplied a great deal of information about not just the local area but also places to visit and explore throughout Tenerife. The Finca itself was spectacular in a very beautiful rustic style and the private garden was stunning. The kitchen was by far the best and most well equipped that we have ever come across. The attention to detail was incredible. We had a private secure parking space on the property as well. Because the weather was a bit on the chilly side, we didn't use the pool, but it looked fantastic, large and very clean. The finca is located in a very nice area and it only takes 15 easy minutes to walk to the middle of town, which is very beautiful indeed, full of stunning traditional buildings. The only thing that the town lacked was a verity of good restaurants and bars, however Puerto de la Cruz, which is teaming with great food places, is only a very easy 15 minutes drive away, we also took the bus there a couple of times, which is also very easy and cheap, we walked it as well in just over an hour. If you are looking for an extremely relaxing retreat then this is certainly a place to consider.

  Disliked: Our only slight negative was that, due to the time of year (La Orotava is quite high up), we were quite cold in the evenings and early mornings. We did have a gas fire that helped. Don't be put off by this, just bring warm clothes. Having said this, I can imagine that from May to September, it must be one of the most perfect places to stay on the island.

  Paradise place,real treat

  Liked: Amazing space with everything you could possibly want, so comfortable.Beautiful gardens and places to sit, listen to the birds,admire the flowers.Parking on site, very secure.Only 10 minutes walk to the town.Owners so welcoming, left Champagne, fruit and chocolate for us and provided great recommendations for trips, restaurants and bars.Simply a paradise.

  Great finca

  Liked: The property was fantastic every thing you need and more. Matius and Angelika were so helpful.. The eggs from the hens were delicious. Particularly enjoyed the wine and chat one evening.
