  A well-located top-floor apartment in the heart of Puerto de la Cruz with great views, perhaps in need of a little TLC

  Liked: What we liked: • Fantastic location right in the centre of Puerto de la Cruz. • Top-floor apartment with balconies on three sides — space for a chair and table to sit and enjoy the view. • Lovely outlook over the harbour, perfect for watching the world go by. • Relatively peaceful setting on the sixth floor.

  Disliked: The apartment is a bit ‘Heath Robinson’ in places and could do with some attention. Only one coffee mug provided. Uneven flooring and raised door cills that could be a trip hazard. Two of the patio doors to the balcony didn’t lock (not a major issue given it’s on the 6th floor). Futon style bed

  Liked: Great location. I was afraid it could be loud at night given the location but the apartment is surprisingly quiet. There was not much of the basics in the kitchen, like salt, pepper and the like. So bring your own stuff.

  Fabulous view - amazing balcony

  Liked: Perfect location with a stunning view over the harbour. Near everything you need but in a quiet spot. Amazing, huge balcony with sun in the morning and evening. Very clean, comfy bed and well equipped kitchen. Flexible with checking out, said we could stay until the cleaner arrived if we wanted to. Fabulous value for money. Nice addition of a few books, cards etc for entertainment.

  Disliked: Hot water tank is quite small. Best to wait between showers to let water reheat.
