The Monopol is truly a different hotel. Full of character and old world charm. Situated in an open pedestrian area in the vicinity of the three loveliest town squares, just a few minutes walk from the old town and the sea, near the colorful flower market. The façade greets you with canarian wooden balconies. Beyond the reception area a typical patio, where palm trees and tropical creepers climb up to the glass roof, surrounded on all sides by hand-carved verandas, invites you to stay awhile.

Liked: Great location, friendly staff.
Disliked: Breakfast. No baked beans, not much fruit. Air con required.

Liked: Location good beds comfortable good breakfast
Disliked: Toilet flush did not work properly it as we were only there 1 night didn’t impact too much on our stay

Favorite hotel
Liked: Hotel Monopol has been a favorite for many years. Wouldn't stay anywhere else. Privately owned hotel with years of history. Friendly staff comfortable rooms. Great location. Sadly due to family & work we've not been able to visit as often as we'd like these last couple of year.
Disliked: Like everything about this hotel. However I do find it difficult to get out of the hot tub!
