  We would love to come back!

  Liked: The apartment looks better in real life than in pictures (which is rare). We loved the whole atmosphere of the place - the bedroom, the kitchen and the garden. Cisca was a truly perfect host! She made us feel welcomed without being too intrusive. We were able to listen to her singing a concert in a choir and it was really beautiful!! We also loved casual conversations with her Mom and spending time with Milka (the dog) who seemed to feel more comfortable with us every day (we appreciate it ☺️). For us, the location was perfect as it is a green & residential neighborhood (around 30 minutes on foot from a beach, quite a lovely stroll if you also prefer walking than driving). There are two well-equipped supermarkets nearby and obviously a botanical garden (highly recommend even if nature in Tenerife is lush and wonderful everywhere). Puerto also turned out to be the perfect spot for travelling by bus for trekking to some other parts of the island. We will gladly come back when we travel to the Canary Islands next time.

  Disliked: The guesthouse may need a little repair in some places but those are really minor issues. It was overall a really amazing experience.

  Cosy house in the garden with a view

  Liked: Incredible cosy house in the tropical garden, separate building with private kitchen. Amazing view on the city. The hosts are very friendly and helpful. I enjoyed my stay a lot!

  Carefree! Amazing!

  Liked: The tiny house was warm and cozy. In a great location, with nice sea view and big yard. Close to the center. Definitely recommended, Cisca and George are so kind and provide us with all the information every day about, places, activities and more. Milka wins the show!

  Quiet and comfortable retreat

  Liked: Tiny House is a wonderful retreat - a small but comfortable en-suite bedroom at one end of the host’s garden. There is access to a small kitchen, washing machine, small swimming pool and sun terrace. The location is excellent, overlooking Porto de la Cruz, although it is a good thirty minutes to walk down to the town and longer to walk back as its all up hill. There are local restaurants and supermarkets. Parking is easy on the streets nearby. The host is exceptionally pleasant and helpful, going out of her way to make my stay a good one.

  Perfect!

  Liked: Selfishly, I didn't want to write a review as I want to keep this place secret, just for us, to book at every opportunity as everything here was absolutely wonderful! From waking up to birdsong, to sitting on the terrace having evening drinks, the surroundings are beautiful. The bedroom was beautifully decorated with Jorge and Cisca's artwork, with a very comfortable bed, the kitchen very well equipped with oils, herbs and spices to use. Cisca's local knowledge was invaluable. Definitely ask her to book you a table for a night at Hannen. I won't say any more so as not to ruin the surprise, but what an excellent night out! The location is stunning! Having never been to the north of the island, we didn't know what to expect but it really is quite breathtaking, with Tiede keeping her watchful eye over us. Honestly, we couldn't recommend it any higher!

  I stayed for a very short time, but I still managed to relax and unwind. I will definitely come back

  Liked: The host is fantastic and made sure to get in touch before our arrival. The cottage is lovely, and the area is peaceful. The kitchen is well-equipped, and there's a tap with filtered water, which is a great convenience.

  Disliked: The only downside is that there is no available parking, but you can find something nearby, so it’s not a big problem. Other than that, everything is great!
