Exceptional
The best it could have been. Don't hesitate. It's a 10!
Liked: I was walking the Camino Norte and the hotel is perfectly located. Maria was on site ready to check me in, make me dinner, did the laundry, was available for everything. Had a great dinner and breakfast and the rooms were cozy and comfortable. Best place for a weary pilgrim. Other guests used the hotel for a base to explore Galicia and said is it was a perfect retreat.
Disliked: Leaving.
Liked: The owner/ manager Berenice was friendly, thoughtful and helpful. We very much enjoyed our two night stay in a lovely, well maintained homestead.
Liked: The house, the interior, the garden and the hostess.
Disliked: The ligting of the rooms was a bit insufficient.

Liked: Fantastic host. I stopped here on the Camino. She made me the most amazing salad. We had a great conversation about woman’s health. I am a man. Really enjoyed the stay.
Disliked: It was all good. Just double check on the food availability when you book as everything is cooked fresh.
Peaceful rural stay
Liked: Beautiful traditional stone house in a tiny hamlet. Very rural. Very quiet. Lots of stars at night. We had dinner and it was delicious and beautifully presented.
Perfect stay on the Camino del Norte
Liked: Casa Doñano is the perfect place to stay after a days walk on the camino del Norte. The hosts are so welcoming and go over and above to welcome you into their beautiful accommodation. The outside gardens were also a treat to enjoy a beer and the evening. I highly recommend
