Great Camino hotel
Liked: Fabulous Clean Quiet Good AC GREAT breakfast
Disliked: Nothing
Liked: Huge room with two bathrooms great showers with overhead and middle jets
Disliked: No.sea view but right beside the wharf. Bed was a bit hard.
Especially good choice if need easy access to parking
Liked: The location was convenient to free parking at the port, but also convenient for walking into town. The room was comfortable. The housekeeping staff were friendly and helpful, as was the young man at the front desk (some of the other front desk staff seemed less engaged with their job). There was a tv lounge that was quite appealing. The hotel in general was attractive and up-to-date.
Disliked: We didn't purchase breakfast and only found out by accident that there was a coffee machine for guests on the ground floor, in a sort of utility room off of the lobby, behind a stored ladder. Once we found it, we gladly used it, but the setting was odd.
Disappointing
Liked: Position. Cleanliness.
Disliked: We didn’t get the rooms we’d requested as we’d asked for a double and a twin. In the end the only twin room left was behind reception in the ground floor - not the sea view we’d paid for and with a smell of drains.
Room was like a small attic with low ceiling - disappointing
Liked: Good breakfast
Disliked: We had no view. Our room had no windows at all. I don’t think I have ever had a hotel room without windows. The ceiling was low and weirdly slanted, like an attic, such that we had to duck down to go into the bathroom. At the price point we paid, I would expect a nicer room. Offering this room at a discounted price might make sense, but that wasn’t the case. Nothing was mentioned to us when we were assigned this room. It was our anniversary, and the room was very disappointing.
Good choice for Ribadeo
Liked: Nice hotel, stylish room without any extras ( coffee maker etc.). Nearby parking is easy. Staff very helpful and friendly.
