Exceptional
A traditional hotel in the Asturian countryside
Liked: This was a traditional Spanish hotel in an absolutely gorgeous location, not far from Ribadesella and on the edge of the Picos de Europa. We travelled here by train. It was a beautiful place to spend a couple of days. Our hosts were so friendly and welcoming and very forgiving of our slightly rusty Spanish. Breakfast was simple but plentiful and delicious, they couldn't have made us feel more welcome. Lots of beautiful walking routes nearby, though unfortunately the weather wasn't on our side. There is a communal microwave, fridge and a BBQ - worth noting, as there are no cafes or bars in the village itself. Would highly recommend Ribadesella (4 mins by train or a short drive).

Liked: Charming place in a pretty & quiet location
Disliked: Breakfast at 9am was a little late for us and some cereal and fruit would have been welcome.
Liked: Lovely friendly and exceptionally clean place. Beautiful environment and garden.
Disliked: Would have liked some fruit at breakfast although breakfast was very good,just personal preference.

Liked: Hotel looks nice from the outside. fits to its village neighborhood. Free parking on site. Note: If you are driving on A-8, there is an issue with google maps - Navigate to "Toriello" (a nearby village) There is no air-condition, but they provide a fan on request. Breakfast was OK. it was served from 9 am
Disliked: Communication was very difficult. They did not know English and did not offer any help. In booking the room description was "double or twin bedroom". I asked for twin beds when I reserved the room and did not get any answer for that..I repeated this request through booking messages. However, we ended up with a double bed. which was queen size. In addition the room was very small. since there is no-air-condition and we had to close the windows for the night (so we would not wake up from the sun light) - the air seemed very thick by the morning...
