  Liked: This was, by far, my worst experience ever with Booking.com. After this stay, I switched to Airbnb for the rest of my trip and couldn't have been happier. The host asked me for a security deposit after my booking had already been paid in full. This requirement was never shown during the booking process in the app. When I contacted Booking.com customer service, they insisted it was mentioned somewhere on the website, which was extremely frustrating. I requested a full cancellation and refund, but the host refused. His attitude was rigid and unhelpful, leaving me, my wife, and our three children stranded in the middle of nowhere after a long flight from Toronto, Canada, followed by a long drive from Málaga. We had no realistic alternative, so I reluctantly agreed to pay an additional €100 deposit. To be fair, the building was clean and had a nice traditional style. The kitchen was functional, and everything was spotless. However, the furniture was extremely basic and didn't make up for the overall experience. The stay was on June 26. Today is August 3, and I still haven't received my €100 deposit back. I remained in Spain for another three weeks and booked every other accommodation through Airbnb. The difference in customer service was incredible. After this experience, I will never use Booking.com again.

  Disliked: Very disappointed with the overall experience. The management was not professional at all. They kept sending suspicious links asking for extra money, which did not feel trustworthy. Communication was also very poor — messages and phone calls were often ignored. The entrance of the building is dirty and not well maintained, which gives a very bad first impression. The apartment is also extremely close to the street, making it noisy, and it is much farther from the city center than expected. I would not recommend this place.

  Liked: The view that's about it and nothing else

  Disliked: Honestly don't even bother booking this place. I wish I had read the reviews before I booked this place. I got a message saying I need to leave a deposit otherwise they were going to cancel the booking. We stayed and nothing special about the place just the view.14 days later I messaged the owner asking where my 100 euros was.They said I wasn't getting it back because we were smoking which is a load of lies because none of us smoke. Even if we did smoke we're four fully grown adults and not stupid enough to smoke inside. Now I have been complaining to booking.com and the bank about this place. 100% scammers, stay clear of this place.

  It's the type of accommodation that leaves a bad taste in your mouth

  Disliked: The behavior of the owners or administrators is absolutely appalling. The answer after 24 hours, without a signature, who you are actually dealing with. I sent a message to the accommodation in advance that our plane lands at 8 p.m., if we can check in until 9 p.m. The next day the answer came that check in is until 8 p.m., then the code expires. If we want to check in later, we have to pay an extra 25 euros. For what?? The keys are collected in a regular metal box with a 4-digit code, so nothing can expire. They simply misled us into paying an extra 25 euros. They had absolutely no agenda with a later arrival, I filled out the online registration myself in advance. We looked for the box for a long time, and it was also difficult to open. The highlight is that they require a deposit of 100 euros, which they will only return after 14 working days. Why?? I don't understand. A terrible experience, never again.

Confirmation of your reservation implies acceptance of the following specific conditions:

You must pay a deposit of €100 per stay and apartment.

The deposit will be fully refunded within 14 working days of your departure, provided that no damage has occurred and the apartment rules have been complied with.

The deposit must be paid at least 24 hours before your arrival date or your reservation will be canceled with charges. Reservations made on the day of arrival must be made as soon as possible.

Payment of the deposit outside this period carries a nonrefundable penalty of €40.

APARTMENT RULES:

1.- IT IS PROHIBITED to have parties in the apartment

2.- IT IS PROHIBITED to make noise between 10:00 p.m. and 8:00 a.m.

3.- Smoking is PROHIBITED inside the apartment, building and terraces.

4.- IT IS PROHIBITED to throw garbage or dirty the stairs or the terrace of the

block.

5.- Access to the block, apartment or terrace is PROHIBITED to more people than

those listed in the reservation (including visitors)

6.- Respect the check in (entry) and check out (exit) times of the apartment (until

11:00)

7.- Be respectful, polite and courteous with neighbors.

8.- FORBIDDEN to cover, cover or disconnect video surveillance cameras.

9.- IT IS PROHIBITED to use towels or sheets outside the apartment (neither pool
