Fabulous
Almadra Bravo
Liked: - Ariadna at reception was very helpful throughout the stay and facilitated an early check in. - The beach beside the hotel is fantastic. Not shown properly in the picture. - The hotel provides free towels for the pool/beach - Breakfast is excellent - The hotel is old art deco and great to see this. - THERE IS A BUS to the centre. Poorly advertised but on the hour to 21:00. L2 line. Google doesn't even have it. - Pizza joint up the road is excellent for lunch
Disliked: - Nothing. The block at the entrance is ugly whatever it is. - Reception shouldn't have to hand out towels. Backs up for those trying to check out or pay etc - Maybe more cereal at breakfast. Kelloggs is a bit bland.
Great stop over en route to Southern Espana
Liked: The hotel location was perfect beautiful views alround. The restaurant took full advanfage with lovely Al Fresco dining. The food and service was excellent.
Disliked: The room sound proofing needs improving we had a noisey couple next door talking until early hours on their balcony.
Mature hotel in amazing location
Liked: Fabulous location and excellent reception staff. The beds are very comfortable
Disliked: Very good hotel but spoiled by one waiter who took 20 minutes to bring me a menu. This is a premium hotel with prices to match. Please train your waiter to understand service is everything.
I thought this was going to be an up-market treat during our holiday tour but we were disappointed
Liked: Lovely setting overlooking a great beach.
Disliked: During the entire stay of 4 days the pool was out of action. We had no notice of this before our arrival and was the main reason for choosing this hotel over nearby accommodation. The details published suggest 'Start a relaxing day with a drink on your private balcony' but presumably that is water, as there are no facilities for making coffee / tea in the room. The refrigerator did not work even after it was adjusted by a member of staff so our snack food had to be thrown away.
Liked: Super staff. Food and wine list really good. Great value. Easy parking and beautiful location
Liked: Perfect location, beautiful views and lovely staff. The restaurant was top for amazing dinners and great breakfast. A place to be back for sure!
