Fabulous
Breathtaking views in a beautiful cottage in Tavertet
Liked: The place was perfect for us! The location was ideal - especially as we could easily walk to the view points and enjoy the breathtaking scenery. The 10th century church was historical, and the village was authentically maintained. Loved that there was a small village shop where we could buy some groceries for one of our dinners. Anna, the host, was very welcoming. Parking is secure and it was a very safe place. Driving to the Vic (for supplies) and to Tona (for some archery) was easy - as was driving down to the Sau lake, where we were able to spend the afternoon kayaking on the lake. We found it amazing that we could see the same lake from the Tavertet cliffs. A lot of history and spectuacular views, accompanied by warm and cozy lodging in a beautiful and quiet town - we couldn't ask for more!
Disliked: Nothing! Everything was great!
It is the perfect stay to clear your head and enjoy the nature
Liked: It was very cosy and comfortable.
Superb
Stunning place, but very remote
Liked: We had a very nice stay at the house, the surroundings are breathtaking and we did wonderful hikes, the location of the house is excellent in that sense. The house is cute and very private, but be prepared that it's quite rustic and the village is VERY quiet and very remote. We had to go minimum 30 minutes in car to find anywhere to eat or buy food.
Disliked: It was a bit inconvenient that there was not ONE place open to buy food in the village.
Superb
