Liked: Nuestra percepción fue mejorando a medida que pasaba el día. Al principio, nos pareció una habitación pequeña, sin nevera, sin aire acondicionado (en pleno verano). Al final, el balcón valió la pena porque pudimos sentarnos al fresco, y en la habitación había corriente, por lo que no hubiéramos encendido el aire. El desayuno muy bueno, también cenamos allí, estaba todo bueno. Había unos gatitos de pocos meses muy bonitos jugando en los alrededores. En cuanto al personal, la propietaria, Sophie, ha sido muy amable en todo momento, así como el resto del personal, con el que hemos tenido un trato muy agradable.
Disliked: La habitación era pequeña, sin la típica nevera. En otros sitios parecidos en los que hemos estado hemos pagado el mismo precio por una habitación más grande, por lo que el precio me parece un poco excesivo. Los horarios son poco flexibles: hay que elegir el tipo de desayuno en el check-in, y decir si se cena allí antes de las 17h (con los platos decididos a las 18h). Se cena a las 20:30h.

Liked: Clean breakfast is nice.. although we are the only people there owner did not allow us to move to another room although offered to pay.. owner was a bit weird asking us why are you here.. since we are Arabs as first time it was for here to see Arabs in this area
Disliked: They kept an ash tray in balcony and said not allowed to smoke, no AC
Exceptional
Liked: Can Garay was a real find. If anything, the pictures don't do it justice. This period property is in a marvellous location for exploring La Garratoxa and surrounding areas. Sophie was a friendly and attentive host and the kitchen and wine offer as based on local cuisine which was just what we were looking for. We hope that we can one day return. The architecture and interior detail was authentic and delightful.
Disliked: We wouldn't have changed anything.
welcoming and relaxing
Liked: Our host, Sophie, could not have been more welcoming and hospitable even inviting us to check into the room early. The home cooked meal in the evening was With local and home grown produce and was of excellent quality. There is a nice shady garden in which to sit and eat. The wine list, which included a lot of local wines was good too. A really lovely stay. thank you
Walking or biking the Ruta de Carrelets? Make this charming house one of your overnight stops
Liked: The location was exceptionally convenient, just a hundred meters or so from the Ruta de Carrelets, my walking path for the week. Breakfast was simple and filling.
Disliked: I had an excellent stay and can't think of anything to improve.
