  Great location and property, if a bit on the expensive side

  Liked: The host was already on site, waiting for us with the keys. The apartment is spacious, clean and well equipped. There are two gates leading out of the property, one of them directly onto the beach side pedestrian walkway. It has a private parking place behind the other gate, leading to the back street. There are many supermarkets and restaurants nearby; and Palamós is just a short walk away from Sant Antoni, and there are even more great places there. We walked all the way to Platja D'Aro southward and the far edge of Palamós eastward and the area is simply fantastic for this.

  Disliked: What was not clear to me based on the photos is that the plot on which the house stands is elevated above ground level; and as there are a lot of people walking along the beach, they were often looking up at us when we were in the garden. When we were there (early-to-mid-April) the weather was often very windy. We had an interruption of the gas (heating/stove), but to the host's credit she sent someone to fix it in about an hour when we let her know. Although I was happy with our stay here, I overall felt that the price was slightly on the expensive side compared to similar properties I've vacationed at in Spain and southern France.

  A stunning & unique property!

  Liked: This property is a gem. There is a spectacular view with all amaneties. It was zen & everybody had a room. The parking also made a huge difference as parking in that area is a premium and difficult to find. We would highly recommend this property.

  Disliked: We would have appreciated AC. It was a bit hot with just fans.

  Excellent location nothing can be better right on the beach

  Liked: ÀNCORA VELLA it’s located at a very beautiful place, best villa on the beach as I have walked throughout the beach walk, the house great for relaxing, freshly cooked meal. It is exactly beachfront with about 20 m to the beach, but the beach is not meant for swimming. It’s a rocky. This place is only for summer of Europe, which starts from 15th of May to 15th of September. Otherwise, the whole town is locked and usually treated as summer houses. The house was clean, but it requires a lot of renovation. All the metal in the house is rusting and it requires repainting, moreover, the house can sleep eight. There are 2 bedrooms where only queen size bed can fitin. One of the bedroom is situated at first floor, but it requires to go out of the main house and climb separate staircase to reach to the bedroom.

  Perfect in every way

  Liked: Everything was fantastic. The house itself with loads of space, the comfort, the homely surrounds, the kitchen is so well equipped. View couldn’t be better. A perfect stay, we didn’t want to leave.
