Fabulous
Calm stay in downtown Santa Cruz
Liked: Comfortable space and bright living room and kitchen! Very central area within 5 minutes from Plaza de España and from La Rambla. Several stops nearby to take “guaguas” and “tranvía” to different urban hotspots.
Good stay at Tosha Nest
Liked: Good location within walking distance of the city center and public transportation. The Hyperdino supermarket is 7 minutes walk. Quiet apartment and owner is responsive to our request.
Disliked: Apartment is basic. Lights are dim especially in the living room.
Big apartment near harbour
Liked: Very nice and big apartment near to the harbour of Santa Cruz. Big showerroom, separate living room and bedroom.
Disliked: Second floor, no elevator but that's OK if you are healthy. Not so easy to find a parking spot but in the end we found an easy place. Would be comfortable to know this before arrival.
Liked: Communication was excellent. The apartment was ideal for our week long stay.
Disliked: The entrance was so dirty and delapidated that we decided not to check the room and left to find a hotel instead, never again!
Two-night stay
Liked: The location was very good with both the city center and seaside nearby. The communication with the host was seamless. The sheets and towels were clean and tidy.
Disliked: The location of the apartment was good however the stairwell was very narrow so people with for example crutches or big suitcases might encounter accessibility problems. The layout of the apartment is also very weird, with a very long hallway and rooms branching out from it. The apartment itself is in need of renovation, especially the kitchen. The windows in both the bedrooms are located toward "wells" which creates a lot of echo in the whole building. Horrible kitchen: the fridge and freezer were covered in mold, stinky. The pots and pans were very old and not useable (the plates, cups, sponge, dish soap and utensils were okay). The microwave looked like it was from the 70´s and not suitable for usage. The sewage in the shower was leaking during baths; you could also find some mold on the wall in the shower.
