Great hotel, great location and good breakfast

Liked: Great location close to the centre of the resort. Lovely clean hotel with good breakfast.

Disliked: Beds are abit hard and the Spa is nice but a lot of the jets do not work which is a shame. Would have liked a pool view as sun doesn’t get to rear most of day.

Central location - very noisy at night

Liked: One of the hotel's strengths is its excellent central location, making it easy to access the town, restaurants, shops, the beach and nearby attractions on foot. The staff were generally friendly and welcoming and did their best to help guests. Unfortunately, the property itself feels very dated. While it appears to have been renovated at some point during the last century, many areas are badly neglected and worn down. We ended up in a tower room where it seemed they had forgotten to finish the plasterwork. The room itself felt cramped and claustrophobic. Beds were as hard as many describe in their reviews but we thought they were comfortable. Two pillars, one flat, one fluffy make it a comfy bedding. No toiletries in the room a part from a no name shower gel brand however reception kindly provided us with a kettle and a toothbrush on request. The staff's friendliness was further undermined by a series of rigid and outdated policies. On our first day, a scheduled room change was required. Although the normal checkout time is 12:00, we were asked to leave our room by 10:00. In exchange, we were given a check-in only ten minutes earlier than the standard time. As a result, we spent nearly four hours stranded in the lobby during torrential rain while a Red Alert was in effect and residents were being advised to stay indoors. The reason given for our early checkout was that many guests that stayed over the weekend had a late checkout. I find it strange to prioritise weekend travelers over those that have booked eight nights. To make matters worse, we had to go through the entire check-in process a second time. Cleanliness was inconsistent. At first glance the room appeared clean, but there were crisps lying next to the bed and chewing gum stuck in the shower upon our arrival. The chewing gum remained there for the entire duration of our stay. Another surprise was that room cleaning is not automatic.

Very nice hotel, quiet, good food, pool and close to the beach and shops

Liked: Breakfast and dinner was a Bufet, very good selection of choices. Lots of option. Pool was warm, pool towels were provided and you could chang them every 2 days. The other restaurant on site, where youy couha have your lunch, had reasonable selection and good coffee. 5 minutes from nearest beach and shops.

Disliked: The aircon in our room was not cold enoug for us. It was 36 degrees when we were there. The coffee in the breakfast room was not very nice.
