  Beachfront charm

  Liked: Wonderful quaint beachfront hotel from the 70's. Very much in original condition or renovated with respect for the original architecture. Well kept lady with lots of soul and charm. Much preferable to white concrete and glass

  I think this place really needs a huge upgrade.once done it could an excellent Hotel

  Liked: Location, day time reception staff and dining room staff were excellent. Food was really very nice.

  Disliked: Evening Reception staff grumpy. Outdoor Pool freezing cold, unable to gain access to the indoor one. ( maybe a seasonal thing )

  How the hell this place passes orthodox safety standards is unbeliveable

  Liked: The breakfast, the dinner, the bar

  Disliked: Safety was the worst I can recall. The 20 steps into the building were challenging, no elevator, no hand rails on half of them. The steps up to the rooms were steep and challenging, no elevator ( anywhere ), the bathroom bath,( no shower unit) had slippery old bath, hard to get out of, only one handle, the bathroom door made loud screeching noises, etc etc. In most developed countries this place would be shut down. Even the main hotel exit doors opened in, not out. I travel a lot and even the Mexican hotels make this place look safety primitive. You should take notice.

  Liked: Nese to the beach and a good pool at the hotel

  Disliked: The location of the room. The room was in the bacement without windows, so very dark. And outside nothing but a stonewall!

  Liked: This was our third visit and will not be our last! The location of the hotel is excellent. Close to the seafront, very good restaurants in the area, a supermarket for essentials just next door. The grounds of the hotel are beautiful and very well maintained. The verandah at the front is one of our favourite places. Plenty of choice at breakfast, and a delicious menu in the bar restaurant.

  Disliked: No complaints really.

  Lovely hotel, great location but spoiled by all the secondary smoking

  Liked: Great character hotel, stunning location

  Disliked: There were a lot of Germans staying at the hotel which isn’t an issue but the fact that we couldn’t enjoy some of the areas of the hotel due to their constant smoking was disappointing. A few times we were relaxing on the wonderful veranda but had to leave as everyone was smoking. It seems it is not as socially unacceptable as it is in the UK.
