  Great

  Liked: This hotel is excellent, one of the great hotels I have visited before. The lobby is great, the bar is great, there is an arcade, there is an outdoor pool, without a heater but you can pay for a heated pool with a sauna and spa. The Restraunt is great, they have really nice food, different options for vegan vegetarian and gluten free foods. There's 2 different types of seafood every day. The ambience of the hotel is also great, the rooms are clean, they're really nice. The bar has good prices, Angelina in the bar is the best:). Come to this hotel, it's really great! The sinks are a bit blocked, if there's too much water you'll have to turn the tap off and let it sink a bit. There is no all inclusive. The location is great, the Rodalies de Catalunya Rl goes to Barcelona and Blanes, and there's also a RGto Maçanet-Massanes which we went. If you are a trainspotter, this hotel is perfect for you! I was one of them, and the trains are frequent. The staff are really nice. There is parking. There are two sides, one in the Santa Susanna Town Centre and the other on a plain road. There is a Carretour and a Lid near the hotel, very handy. Parking is available and you pay for it But overall the hotel is good. There are free drinks and sweets and marshmallows beside reception, perfect if vou are hot.

  Excellent stay

  Liked: An excellent stay from check in to check out. Whole hotel is spotless, Food was excellent. Staff were so friendly. A special mention to Antonia in the restaurant.

  Very very poor service

  Liked: Average hotel, as regular visitors to Santa Susannah we enjoy the location. Have to say this hotel is pleasant enough, not overly clean, in need of a bit of a revamp and rooms need better cleaning. Initially had a mould problem in our room which was pretty grim. We had a horrible damp smell then realised the cupboard that housed the fridge was mouldy. Changed rooms. Still cleanliness issues. The reason we will not return is due to our treatment in the buffet restaurant. We visited one evening as a family of 4 with 2 children. On arrival the staff were pouring drinks, Cava I think. I declined this but when I saw orange juice I asked for some, I assumed they were pure orange juice but on arrival back to my table when my son tried his (he is 7) we realised it had cava in. I went back and asked for just orange juice please. And returned to my table with glasses for myself and children. I hadn’t realised but the restaurant manager had followed me back to the table and as I turned to leave and visit the buffet he said ‘That’s enough. No more- they (the drinks) are only for hotel guests’. I was too stunned to react and process what he was implying- he addressed me in disgust in front of the restaurant as though I had done something terrible. As if that wasn’t bad enough when my husband and I went to get the children food the wait staff (I presume at the direction of the restaurant manager) came and took our water glasses away. I presume as punishment?!?! My children didn’t know what happening and why we had been deprived of even ordering some water for our table? I didn’t want my kids to drink alcohol! To be treated like that was shocking. If you don’t want people to drink juice, don’t give it out. I half expected to be followed round the buffet and told I wasn’t allowed to go back up for seconds. Really unhappy with this hotel, wouldn’t return.

  Very bad experience to forget it!

  Liked: Standard room was very small with old style, dirty evacuation on the bathroom, small swimming indoor pool with the coast of 12 eur during only 2h!! No food variety and especially bad quality It will be the first and the last time:(

  Another brilliant stay!

  Liked: Another brilliant stay at this wonderful hotel which is situated close to the beach and to the train station. On arrival we decided to treat ourselves and upgraded to the Lumiere suite. We were so thrilled with this decision as the room had 2 balconies, one with sea view and 2 comfortable reclining sun loungers and table and chairs. The room was huge and had a bath with shower over, and a walk in rainfall shower. We also had coffee/tea making facilities with a Nespresso machine. We have always found this hotel spotlessly clean and the maids visited our room every morning and collected towels again in the evening whilst we were at dinner. Food was very good and varied. We would like to thank all staff for being so friendly and welcoming and making our stay even more enjoyable. We usually stay here twice a year and have already booked the Lumiere suite for next year.

  Great hotel

  Liked: We stayed here for my birthday. It was a lovely hotel, the rooms were spacious and bed comfy. The spa was lovely and great value. Would highly recommend this hotel.
