  Nice hotel, good pool but very cold ( October) good breakfast

  Child friendly hotel - well looked after by staff!

  Liked: Staff were friendly and very accommodating. Hotel had lots to do for children - very child orientated. My son had a fantastic time. Pools were fantastic too! We had a south facing room so had sun all afternoon and enjoyed the sunset. Wonderful!!

  Disliked: Location - just a little out the way, for what I am used to - other bars and entertainment.

  Cheap and cheerful

  Liked: Staff were all lovely, good location, easy to get to from the train station. Clean and comfortable rooms. Good for a short stay

  Disliked: This hotel i would describe as cheap and cheerful. Its a good basic hotel for a quick getaway. Food is fine but if you are expecting 4 star with lots of variety, this is not it. The hotel is clean and comfortable but there is some wear and tear. I didn't realise until I got there, that I had booked during school holidays, which is fine except there was no policing of keeping the kids out of the adult only areas. Understand the policy of exchanging a card for a proper glass but if you have a wrist band and aren't drinking alcoholic drinks, surely these could be served more than one at a time in a plastic cup?

  A great weekend with the family

  Liked: We drove down from France for a family anniversary, the hotel, food, room and location was perfect for us.

  Overall, the stay was okay, but the air conditioning, room size and slow check-in could improve

  Liked: The hotel was good overall, but there were a few issues during my stay. The air conditioning was very slow, especially with temperatures around 33°C. It seemed to work through a wall/window-style system, so it took a long time to cool the room. The room itself was quite small and would probably be more suitable for a couple or a solo traveller. There wasn’t much space to move around. Check-in was also quite slow. We had to wait around 45 minutes in the queue, with only two staff members working at the reception desk. That said, the staff were very helpful, polite and friendly, which was appreciated. The location was convenient, with the train station only about a 6-minute walk away and plenty of shops nearby.
