  A comfortable albergue with a big heart! The kindness and warm hospitality made our Camino memorable

I had a wonderful experience at Albergue SCQ, and I especially want to thank Miguel for his incredible kindness, friendliness, and genuine hospitality. Miguel went above and beyond to make sure I felt comfortable and well taken care of. He was always approachable, patient, and willing to help, making my stay so much easier and more enjoyable. After a long journey on the Camino, meeting someone as thoughtful and caring as Miguel was truly a blessing. It's these little acts of kindness that make a journey unforgettable. Thank you, Miguel, for your warm heart and outstanding hospitality. You are a true example of the beautiful Camino spirit! I would happily recommend Albergue SCQ to fellow pilgrims. Five stars, especially for Miguel! ❤️

  Stayed there for the 2nd time in 2 years, with 3 nights each time. Will certainly come back again

  Liked: Spacious, Clean and Safe. Easy access to the Catedral. Near bars and grocery stores. Wonderful staff! Very informative and helpful! They truly are angels on the Camino.

  Clean and spacious away from the chaos of the Compestella

  Liked: The kitchen is spacious and compete for cooking. I loved the separate male/ female showers and bathrooms as a few recent albergues didn’t separate them. Also roomy to shower, dry and change. The dorms all have sliding doors. It’s a super clean facility. For my needs the location was good: 20 min walk to Compestella and 25 minute walk to bus/train station. Grocery store was a 5 minute walk.

  Disliked: I wonder why albergues can’t have male and female dorms. I’ve been in a few that did and it’s so much more comfortable. This dorm had 2 bunk beds (yay!) but we were 2 ladies and two guys. Well at least have privacy curtains in mixed dorm.
