  Beware - read the reviews before booking. The price and location are attractive but there are trade offs in comfort and

  Liked: Location - and that’s it!

  Disliked: Our toilet was down the hall. A very small shower inside the room. The bed was very hard. No heating. Water dripping from ceiling. Host demanded €3.10 payment for bed tax via payment app or bank transfer before she would give us room. Very difficult to achieve for non-Europeans. Refused to take cash.

  Liked: The location is very central to the Cathedral.

  Disliked: There was a little confusion with the check-in arrangements and payment of the tourist tariff however this was not a significant concern and was easily worked out on arrival.

  Liked: Self check-in check out worked very well. Right in the old town centre just a very short walk from the cathedral.

  Disliked: Sadly I couldn't get any hot water in the shower. Room is small but for what I paid is extremely good value.

  Don’t stay there

  Liked: Not much

  Disliked: The txt that I received saying I would not be allowed on the property unless the tourist tax was paid and it was a day before I check in. I was walking the Camino and had no idea what time I would arrive. That’s BS! All other hotel accepted payment at time of check-in or check out. I ran around for 2 hours trying to pay €1,65 … complete BS

  Old world charm...and all that comes with it
