  Great place to stay after our Camino

  Luxury oasis in historic centre

  Liked: We stayed after the Camino and found it an absolute pleasure to arrive to such comfort. Excellent location in historic centre down a quiet street off the main cathedral square. Staff were friendly and very helpful, gave good communications about arrival and access to room and were very responsive to messages. Spacious room overlooking the street through shuttered French doors with 2x sets of double glazed windows and heating/cooling system. Plenty of lighting. Sitting area with sofa, chair, coffee table and sideboard containing mini fridge. Thoughtful inclusion of complimentary cookies, beer and olives in fridge as well as tea/coffee (kettle included as well as coffee machine). Breakfast served in the delightful separate bar/kiosk overlooking a lovely private garden. Buffet style arranged with great care including breads/pastry, charcuterie, boiled eggs, fresh fruits, cereals, yoghurt. We had an early checkout and they were able to leave some breakfast in our room the night before.

  Disliked: Breakfast served on the late side from 9-11am. The front door and reception area are not attended but staff can be found in the kiosk or reachable by messaging. A mirror in the bedroom would be useful for when the bathroom is occupied. Noise from the stairwell is very audible as are footsteps from the level above (floors are concrete).

  An immaculate, stunning calm retreat - staff were absolutely lovely and incredibly helpful. Highly recommended!
