  We enjoyed our stay in Santiago de Compostela very much

  Liked: It was very clean and well-equipped. Being able to put on the heating was a big bonus because it was wet and cold while we were there. The location was perfect for easy access to the cathedral and train station, etc.

  Disliked: The sitting area wasn’t comfortable for relaxing in in the evening. The bedroom with the double bed and en-suite was quite small.

  Good Location. Nice apartment for 2 people each requiring separate bedroom and bathroom

  Liked: The location was good. Close to old town about 8-10mins walk to the cathedral and all the restaurants around that area. Closer to the apartment there is a supermarket, a bakery, a few fruit shops and cafes, so that was very convenient. The host Ramon was very helpful. Greeted us and explained what was available for use in the apartment. Though he only spoke Spanish, we were able to communicate via google translate. We stayed 7 nights and there were plenty of clean towels and spare bed linen supplied. Cleaning service is not offered, but that wasn't a problem. The apartment is small with 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms, although the one ensuite was small and that room with a double bed is also very small. It's a good size for the 2 of us we as needed privacy. But it might be a tight for 2 couples

  Disliked: Strangely, the windows couldn't be opened, so at times it was a little stuffy in the apartment. There is no air conditioning. So perhaps an addition of a couple of fans would have helped circulation. The humidity is quite high in Santiago de C, so laundry took time to dry. Fortunately there is a laundromat downstairs - just 2 shops away - so we were able to use the dryers there.
