Exceptional
Nice and affordable
Liked: Not near the centre and to places of interest or restaurants (it's a 15-minute walk) but much more affordable. The property has a private parking which is great because it can be tough to find a free spot.
Disliked: No air conditioner — just a fan. No coffee machine at the property — had to walk 5–6 minutes to get to the closest restaurant (getting there is easy because you're walking down the road but going back is less so because you're walking up a relatively steep street).
Very welcoming and comfortable. Providing helpful information about local facilities. Very close walk to famous caves -
Liked: Welcoming, providing a comfortable en-suite room for the night.
Disliked: No evidence of access to any drinks. Given we had warm weather we should have asked for cool water. If it had been cool we would have asked for access to a kettle.
Very well kept property with a lovely owner
Liked: The property is beautiful in a lovely quiet location within walking distance of Santillana del Mar.
Disliked: Our room was on the small side
Clean room in good location
Liked: Great location with easy parking and walking access to Santillana del Mar. Staff were friendly and helpful and gave good restaurant recommendations for dinner. Room was clean.
Disliked: We could hear some noise from the other rooms. There was a bright green safety light always on during the night.
