  Not bad for the price, but needs some improvements

  Liked: Room was recently renovated. Good bathroom and location is pretty good (even though Santillana del Mar is a small village). It was easy to park nearby, but we weren't there on peak season. Room was ok for the price.

  Disliked: No staff during most of the day, something I personally dislike. Room could be a bit cleaner (some dust here and there). Lack of towels, just 2 towels and that's it (no face towels, for example). So it is a bit basic. Communication a bit confusing, as there's no workers on the spot (apart from breakfast hours, I guess), you have to communicate through messages. Didn't answer my question.

  Airy, clean, pleasant and very well situated

  Liked: Great location, super clean and pleasant, easy to access. Lovely views from top floor. Bright and airy.

  Disliked: Nothing - suited us perfectly.

  Rather like a sophisticated hostel, but very well presented

  Liked: A little unusual as staff were not present after 15:00, and you used a key card for all entries, hotel and room. Location suited us well, although I had specified parking on site. The road improvements prevented this, and to all immediate properties. Our room was spotlessly clean and the bed very comfortable.

  Disliked: All good apart from access due to roadworks.
