Highly recommended
Liked: Excellent location. Beautiful building with great character and in immaculate condition. Plenty of free parking in hotel grounds. Friendly and helpful staff.
Disliked: A second arm chair in the bedroom would have been nice.
Retreat from urban
Liked: Staff are very kind and helpful. The place is quiet and comfortable.
Disliked: Nothing.
Liked: Lovely proprietors. Cute building. Generally good condition.
Disliked: Coffee... Omg. Isolated -- have to go to nearby towns to do anything.
Great stay in a building full of character
Liked: It's a building with a lot of character and the staff is very friendly and great. The airconditioning was very useful in August as well. There's also lots of private parking space. The breakfast buffet is great as well, and includes toast, cheese, hams, juices, fruits and coffee amongst others. There's a lovely garden as well where one can sit and read a book. The location is great in terms of beaches (try Playa del Tagle, less than 15 mins drive), and it's an easy drive to Santander as well, which is a lovely city.
Disliked: Given that it's a dated building, one could for example hear the neighbors snoring, and there was this sewage smell we couldn't get out of the room. The airconditioning helped and it wasn't a deal breaker ultimately. It would be great to have some space to dry your beach towels after a beach day. We used the gates of the parking lot for this, maybe one can install some proper washing line there.
